Programs

The Ivy Hill Neighborhood Association (IHNA) has a longstanding commitment to serving our community through various impactful programs. One of our latest initiatives is a career opportunity program in renewable energy within the offshore wind industry. This program aims to create employment opportunities for Ivy Hill residents interested in embarking on new careers in clean energy. Additionally, we have been dedicated to our youth sports programs for several years, offering organized recreational activities such as baseball, soccer, and football for children aged 5 to 17. All these programs are conducted in Ivy Hill Park, fostering community engagement and promoting active lifestyles among our youth.

Ivy Hill Little League Baseball

Founded in 1998 and officially chartered in 2007, Ivy Hill Little League is a community-based, independent baseball program serving Ivy Hill, Irvington, South Orange, and Maplewood. Our mission is to help every child develop a love for baseball while building friendships and community pride.

We invest 100% of player fees into development, offering a welcoming, inclusive environment where parents are part of the team. Diversity is one of our core values—bringing together kids from different neighborhoods to learn, play, and grow together.

Our program includes clinics, regular practices, and weekend games, focused on developing players and coaches alike. We play on high-quality fields, including a turf-lit diamond and access to Seton Hall University’s softball field.

Driven by dedicated volunteers, Ivy Hill believes winning means every child improves, has fun, and wants to return. We’re more than a league—we’re a tradition built around family, teamwork, and love of the game.
